You Only Live Once!

Exploring The Beauty Of Woods

The best part to get out of a busy schedule is "Travelling". A few days back, I planned a trip to the countryside... where I discovered lives in India where nature is still worshipped, food is cooked in clay vessels, and most importantly, visitors are embraced with open arms.

It was approximately a 500kms journey, which covered dense forests of Madhya Pradesh, beautiful lakes, amazing sight scenes, along with the group of traditional local tribes, who lead peaceful lives far away from city disturbances. Those breath-taking sunsets, views of endless rolling hills, and a gentle murmur of a lake made me feel solitude, peace and inner pleasure which was beyond imagination.

The Tale Of Baigas!

In our way, we found some villages where we noticed those villagers had tattooed themselves in a creative manner using materials from the forests they lived in. Those were Baiga. Basically, Baiga is a most primitive tribal group in Central India. These people are found in the largest number in Mandla and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh. Baigas generally lead a simple life and believe themselves to be the rulers of forests. The interesting thing about them is that they never plough their fields rather, they practice "Slash and Burn Agriculture" because they believe that ploughing may hurt the mother earth.

That Amazing Boating...

We were passing through a bridge and meanwhile, we saw some unknown random lake. With a thought to explore it, we moved out of the car and asked some local people if we could get a chance to have a visit to that lake on the boat that was kept somewhere there. We unexpectedly got a chance to do boating and have an amazing view of forests.
Meanwhile, the wether too became calm, still and cloudy. Enjoying the beauty of nature, in the midst of some unknown random lake, made me realise the importance of quietness in our lives. Waves were being created when the fishes jumped out of the crystal clear water. And beautiful chirruping of birds made my day. It was really a mind-blowing scene and the reflection of trees on the water was truly mesmerising. That 30 minutes boat ride made my mood fresh and proved to be awesomely soothing.

The Deer And Sunset...

While wandering around some random roads and forests, I finally got a chance to click the pic of a beautiful spotted deer that was standing still as if he wants his pic to be clicked. I slowly got out of the sunroof and fortunately, clicked a perfect picture of that deer. I'll say it is the best click I've ever clicked in my life.

One of the most magical moments of the day is sunset. It was around 6:30pm. The sun was about to set behind the beautiful mountains. The winds seemed to be inviting and friendly and trees cast long shadows and the wind whistled through them. The sun seemed to be brilliantly white with an orangish touch. It was an amazing view, from the place I was standing.

At last, concluding everything, I'll say that we only have one life and we should honour it by giving more and more time to do the things, we love. Instead of fulling the house with lots of crazy stuff, fill your passport full of stamps and eventually your life with wonderful memories...
