My Journey So Far

Hello beautiful people! Today, without wasting any time, lemme take you all through my journey as a blogger so far.

It all began in August 2020 when I got a strong urge to write and express myself in front of others. Maybe, this urge came out of the struggles and failures that I got to experience in my past. Writing was my only weapon back then. I wanted someone to hear out my stuff, and I had no one except my e-mail section. I was often found jotting down my thoughts, quotes, stories, and frustration in big e-mails, that I used to delete later. To be honest, I wasn't even aware of the term "blogging" till 2019.

Eventually, I learnt about "blogger" from one of my friends. Almost instantly, I created my blogger account and the journey commenced...! And finally, on the 6th of August, I got a stage to showcase my thoughts and named it "Offbeat Thoughts".

But this was not the end. I was still craving a large number of loyal readers when one of my friends told me about connecting with intellectuals on LinkedIn and understanding to brand and promote writeups to get a readership. No sooner did I have this thought, I slipped upon some excellent content writers and their write-ups. That was the turning point of my journey. I went through different websites, explored them all, and learnt a lot from people who had expertise in writing. I discovered myself in an unfamiliar world, yet relished every bit of it. I was over the moon when I realised that people are reading and enjoying my write-ups, not just from India, but from eighteen other countries too! Gradually, I grew (and still learning), and voila, I'm here, building my own professional website!

I believe that there is a bigger reason behind our every desire. That small instinct coming from the fourth chamber of your heart may give a direction to your average life. So don't let that quest to achieve something big die within you, just because your family and pals don't find any sense behind you doing it. Cherish and blossom it. One day, the entire world will value it.

So this was all about my "back story" so far, in case you people have got any questions, comments, ideas, suggestions or even a simple "hello", I would be more than happy to hear from you:)

    1. Actually, I did not exactly follow a set of any specific websites, nor did I follow their writing styles. But instead, I used them as a tool to learn different things like how to start writing...greetings etc, how to maintain the flow and ways to keep my audience engaged throughout. Still, if you are interested in following the blogs, then IndiTales, Just Words (by Vaisakhi Mishra) are some of the recommended blogs from my side.

  10. I would like to add a little more to this journey of yours. You might have heard the name "Blogging" for the first time in 2019-20, but your journey as a blogger had already started when you were in school. You were already working on your communication skills , content creation, how to deliver speech , debates n all, oblivious to the fact that this is where your journey is starting.
You used to be very different in front of me n our friends though.!😂
